This variety is one of the most unique our family has ever tried. When we opened the bag we immediately noticed a sweet, smokey aroma. It reminded me of chocolate chip cookies. This variety yields a cup of coffee that is a remarkable balance of sweetness and low acidity. Just like its namesake whale shark, this coffee has a huge presence combined with gentle grace. The fact that it is organic makes this coffee all the more special. This is one of our favorites!
All occasions roast.
This is definitely an all-occasions type of coffee, especially if you like your roasts a bit darker. Very nice, smooth, and easy on the acid. A definite win.
